One of my greatest passions has always been investing in girls. I was one of those young girls who always had the hands of local “community” women involved in my life. It is because of these women that I am the woman that I am today. From the Sunday School teacher who pick me up every weekend, to one of my mentors who taught High School math and who took an interest in me at an early age, to my godmother who invested in me spiritually.
To all the countless teachers and other women in the community who invested in my life they made me a better woman today. It is strong, powerful, tenacious, and passionate women who propel our girls forward in becoming and being all that they can be. It is with great pride and we’re excited to join The First Lady of The United States & #letgirlslearn Working together to open the doors of education for girls around the world.
