I was excited to hear the good news from a fellow blogger and mommy Kimberly at LavenderGloss  that we could receive a welcome letter from the White House and President once our little one is born.  How exciting!!

So being the researcher that I am, I had to make a few phone calls to Washington and of course check the internet.  And true enough, Presidents have been doing this for years.   But not only can your receive a letter for your baby you can also receive a greeting for other milestones like:  Just married, retirement, celebrating a golden anniversary or a Bar Mitzvah to name a few.

Requests can also be mailed, at least six weeks in advance of the event or after the baby is born to:
